Yakima, WASH.--The Yakima County Republican Central Committee said there may only be one day left to vote, but that doesn't mean the phone calls and aggressive campaigning will stop.
The Republican Committee is not only making phone calls, but they're also making themselves visible by going door to door reminding people to vote for Rob McKenna.
They even posted on their Facebook page that they were in need of ballot chasers. Someone who could drive to the homes of people that haven't returned their ballots yet.
"It has been just an aggressive approach, so to speak, to get the vote out," said Micah Cawley, Yakima County Republican Co-Chairman. "We want people to know that Rob's the best candidate for governor and we'll do everything, legally, that we can to make sure that they know that he's our guy."
The Facebook post said ballot chasers will be paid $10 an hour and each will receive a $50 gift card for gas.
There was no mention of the committee going door to door to pick up ballots.
