Eagles Rise to No. 5 in FCS Poll

Eastern Washington, who was at one time the No. 1 team in the country is back to No. 5 after a blowout win over Cal Poly.

The Eagles are at No. 5 in the Sports Network Top 25 poll released Monday. They had dropped from No. 1 to No. 7 after a loss to Southern Utah.

Other Big Sky schools in the poll include Montana State at No. 2, Northern Arizona at No. 11 and Cal Poly at No. 19.

Eastern Washington's next game is Saturday against UC Davis at Roos Field in Cheney. It will be the Eagles' final home game of the season and will be televised on SWX. Their final game is Nov. 17 at Portland State.
