KENNEWICK, Wash.-- Michael Baumgartner, U.S. Senate hopeful, made a stop in Kennewick Saturday on his final campaign tour before Election Day.
He visited the Republican Party Victory Office to talk about why he should take Maria Cantwell's senate seat.
He says the budget and our country's debt is a top concern of his and he wants to work both sides of the isle in Washington, D.C. to make a difference.
"Well, our message has been consistent from the start of the campaign that we really need to balance the budget, bipartisan approach in Washington D.C., and smarter foreign policy. With only four days left in the campaign, right now it's all about get out the vote and voter turn out. That's why it's fun to be down here in Tri-Cities with so many of our good supporters," said Baumgartner.
Baumgartner also says that since Washington is the most trade dependent state in the country, our agricultural communities are very important and he would listen to the needs of that group and advocate for them.
