KITTITAS COUNTY, Wash. - Kittitas County residents should prepare for possible flooding in November.
The Board of County Commissioners and Kittitas County Public Works announced November to be Flood Awareness Month. Experts are urging all residents to be prepared for the upcoming flood season.
Although forecasters are unsure of the weather pattern, experts said flooding is always a threat in the county.
Flooding is also of great concern due to high burn severity of the Table Mountain Fire, according to the press release.
