PORTLAND, Ore.- A woman has pleaded innocent to charges of drunken driving and neglecting her 2-year-old son.

Police say they found 28-year-old Cassandra Kimmel slumped in the driver's seat of her car.

Police say Kimmel told officers she had been driving her son to stores in search of a Halloween costume. Police say the woman told officers she had taken oxycodone for tooth pain in the morning and drank vodka and lemonade in the afternoon.

After the woman became unconscious, police say the child left the car and knocked on the door of a nearby house for help.
