RICHLAND, Wash. -- The final phase of the George Washington Way Project begins Tuesday, October 30.
The outside lane of travel will be closed during the work day as trees are planted along George Washington Way.
The contractor will begin work on the west side (southbound lanes) at Swift Boulevard and work towards Jadwin Avenue. Crews will then move over to the other side (northbound lanes).
The lane closures only affect the right lane in the area they are working and will not occur during morning or afternoon commute directions.
