PASCO, Wash. - Senator Maria Cantwell will kick off Day Two of a 26-stop "Jobs for Washington Tour" with Democratic candidates from around the state.
During the tour, Cantwell will join gubernatorial nominee Jay Inslee, attorney general candidate Bob Ferguson, Senator Patty Murray, and Democratic Congressional, legislative and local candidates around the state. She also made a stop at the Plumbers & Steamfitters Local Union 598 in Pasco.
Cantwell arrived with fellow Democrats in office, Richland Mayor John Fox and Benton County Prosecutor Andy Miller, and endorsed other Democrats running for office, including Jay Inslee, Jay Clough,Mary Baechler , and Richard Reuther.
The tour started in Yakima Wednesday and will through November 4 to communities across Washington state.
The "Jobs for Washington Tour" will highlight the importance of supporting job growth, expanding educational opportunities and investing in workforce and veterans job training.
Throughout the 26-stop tour, Cantwell and Jay Inslee, along with Washington Democratic candidates will encourage supporters to get out the vote on November 6, visiting Spokane and Vancouver, as well as Seattle, Bremerton, Puyallup, Bellingham, Everett, Kirkland, Tacoma and Olympia.
