PASCO, Wash. - Fourth Avenue in Pasco will be closed between Margaret Street and North Octave Street until next Monday.
Crews are putting in new roundabouts. Paving started this morning in front of the Franklin County Courthouse. Some people we talked to say they think the roundabouts will be more safe for drivers.
"And the Roundabouts have saved a lot of lives. It has been proven in Kennewick. I was a Kennewick resident before, four years ago I bought a house here. So we didn't understand we were all critiquing the roundabouts but this is going to be a way of saving lives,"said, Ramona Castro, Pasco resident.
Fourth Avenue is scheduled to re-open on Monday at 7 a.m.
