Yakima City Council to discuss car license tax

YAKIMA, Wash. (AP) - The Yakima City Council holds a study session Tuesday to consider adding a $20 car license tax in the city.

The car tab tax could be on the ballot next year. It would help pay for maintenance on 800 miles of city streets.

A survey found 50 percent of voters indicated they would approve the measure.
