Yakima man recovers from stabbing

Yakima, WASH.-- A Yakima man is recovering Tuesday after he was stabbed and taken to a local hospital Monday night. 

Detectives were investigating another incident at the hospital when the victim walked in just after 6 p.m.

Police said 50-year old Steven White was stabbed at the Yakima Inn on North First Street. His condition is unknown.

Police found the suspect at the hotel.

William Hert Jr. now faces charges of first degree assault.
