Once the laughing stock of the NFL, the NFC West is running rampant right now, and the Seattle Seahawks are helping to lead the way.

The defense continues to dominate opponents. On Sunday in a 16-12 win over Carolina, the ‘Hawks defense allowed just 190 yards of total offense. They did, however, hand the Panthers two points at the end of the game, which proved not only to be gracious, but smart!

"I can't remember ever taking a safety before," said coach Pete Carroll. "We've always talked about them, but I think that's my first time ever. My recall says first time."

So now the Seahawks are a robust 3-0 in non-division games this year and 3-2 overall. As for the rest of the division, NFC West teams are 11-3 in games played out of their division this season.

Seattle hosts New England this Sunday at CenturyLink Field at 1 p.m. (PT).
