Yakima, WASH.--The Yakima community had a chance to give back to three non-profit organizations Saturday.
Liberty Tax sponsored "Three Hands" Fiesta, a benefit for the YWCA, La Casa Hogar and Cell Phones For Soldiers.
The YWCA is in need of winter clothing for women and children. Cell Phones For Soldiers collects used phones, and then gives soldiers calling cards so they can communicate with their families.
"There are so many organizations in this community that do wonderful things for the community," said Shannon Bird, the owner of Liberty Tax. "We have a lot of people in need in this community so it's important to give back."
La Casa Hogar is now registering people for fall classes, which include lessons on citizenship, computer training and learning to speak English.
