The Spokane Shock will host two open Mini-Camps this winter in search of new talent for the 2013 AFL season. The camp will take place on December 8th in Spokane, WA and second will be in Dallas, TX on January 12th, 2013.

Registration fee will be $100 at the registration table prior to participating in the workout. The registration fee is non-refundable and only cash or money order will be accepted as a form of payment.

The workouts will consist of testing in the 40-yard dash, 20-yard shuttle, and broad jump. Shock staff will also run positional drills and 1-on-1's after running and performance drills are completed.

"We are really looking forward to our mini-camps this year and the opportunity to find new talent going into the 2013 season. Last year we had two successful camps in the state of Washington and had five players participate with the team during the season between training camp invites, two-day workouts, and one player even played for us in 2012," said Shock Head Coach Andy Olson.

"Last year, we really wanted to host a mini-camp outside of the Pacific Northwest but unfortunately were not able to so. Going into the 2013 season we are excited about the opportunity to travel to the Dallas area and host a workout. We have a number of players from last year as well as years previous on the Shock roster from state of Texas and believe in our chances to find some quality players there," said Shock General Manager Ryan Rigmaiden.
