HOOD RIVER, Ore. -Firefighters continue making headway on a wildfire burning east of Hood River in the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area.

Interstate 84 remains open, but one east-bound lane is closed at milepost 66, just east of Hood River.

The Mark O. Hatfield bike and pedestrian trail through the Mosier tunnels to Mosier is closed.
