Yakima, WASH.--The Central Washington State Fair has some great entertainment this year, including getting to watch a man who came all the way from Lexington, Kentucky to train two young horses.
Dan James won the international 2012 Road To The Horse Competition.
It's a top honor for elite horse trainers. The skill is taming untamed horses in a matter of just a few hours.
"I've got, I think one of the coolest jobs in the world," said James. "We sort of travel literally worldwide, and we get to mess around with horses and show people what's achievable with them."
James said he's been training young horses since he was 14-years-old.
This week he'll be working with two young colts during the fair, and at next weekend's rodeo you could buy one! The horses are set to be auctioned off.
