Mead vs. Mt. Spokane

The annual Battle of the Bell rivalry game between Mt. Spokane and Mead was played tonight in front of 12,568 fans.

Mead came into the game ranked 2^nd in the state, but Mt. Spokane came ready to play and took the lead early on a Daniel Munoz 3 yard run for the 7-0 lead. The upset-minded Wildcats would remain up 7-6 at halftime.

The Barlow brothers and Mead got on the board early and often though in the 2^nd half as Darian and Davian Barlow combined for five touchdowns and Mead went on to beat Mt. Spokane 32-21.

Ferris vs. Rogers

Game one at Joe Albi Stadium tonight featured Ferris and Rogers tonight. After no score through one quarter of play, it became a shootout after that.

Runningback Luke Rogers (Rogers) had a workman like day running for 201 yards and two touchdowns on 33 carries. But it was not enough to keep up with the potent office of the Saxons. Quarterback Christian Olson threw for 3 touchdowns as Ferris would win 35-24.

Shadle Park vs. GPREP

In front of a packed house at Gonzaga Prep, Shadle Park and impressive sophomore quarterback Brett Rypien looked to pull the upset against the undefeated Bullpups.

G-Prep proved to be too much on the ground though as the team would rush for 423 yards. Quarterback Bonneau led the rushing attack with 184 yards on 14 carries and 4 rushing touchdowns.

Gonzaga Prep would go on to win by a score of 57-19 heading into their biggest game of the season as they face the Mead Panthers next Thursday night.  

Lewis and Clark vs. University

In a defensive struggle, the Lewis and Clark Tigers and University Titans would be close to the end.

U-High was significantly better passing the ball, throwing for 205 yards compared to LC's 59. The running game would end up being the difference though for the Tigers as Fitzgerald and Black would comine for 265 yards on 40 carries.

LC won the game 14-9.
