Pedestrian killed by semi - NBC Right Now/KNDO/KNDU Tri-Cities, Yakima, WA |

Granger, WASH.-- A pedestrian was hit and killed by a semi tractor around 9 a.m. in Granger Saturday.

42-year old William Hegstrom of Issaquah was crossing State Route 223 at Bailey Avenue when he was hit by the big rig.

Hegstrom died at the scene.

The driver of the truck was not injured, and Washington State Patrol said no charges have been filed.
