Selah, WASH.--Kids from all over Central Washington were practicing their basketball skills Saturday.
They are all part of a non-profit organization called High Definition.
The program was designed for kids who are passionate about basketball and want to work with other kids who share their same interests.
The coach said he has players from Prosser, Yakima and the Tri-Cities.
"I think that by working together those kids have better opportunities than by working separately or competing against each other," said Coach Josh Caffrey. "We'd rather put them all in a gym, give them all the same uniform and let them help each other accomplish their goals."
High Definition is completely free to join.
Coach Caffrey said he thinks all players should have the opportunity to advance their skills, and it should not depend on whether their parents can afford it.
