RICHLAND, Wash. -- George Washington Way, from Jadwin to Williams, will be closed for paving on Monday and Tuesday night, September 10 and 11, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
There will also be a third night closure of the side streets on Wednesday, September 12, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. to pave the side approaches.
The project is being paved at night to minimize the impacts to the driveway accesses along George Washington Way, and to avoid morning and afternoon rush hour. The contractor will pave one side of George Washington Way each night.
After paving is complete, lane restrictions will occur during the day as crews finish utility adjustments, road striping and landscaping.
