YAKIMA, Wash. -- The Yakima Bears ended their tenure at County Stadium. Wednesday the Boise Hawks beat the Bears to advance to the Northwest League championship series. It was another close finish, 3-2.
"You know, we really appreciate our players' effort all around. I feel really proud of our guys, the organization too, the way that we play all the way," manager Audo Vicente said.
Next year the Bears will play in Hillsboro, Oregon.
