Teen, 15, found unconscious after crash in Kennewick

KENNEWICK, Wash., - A 15-year-old boy from Kennewick is in critical condition Monday morning after a car crash late Sunday evening.

Officers found an unconscious Jacob Cole Matyear at 11:30 Sunday night in a red Kia sedan near 45th and Beech street.

Police say the 15-year-old wasn't wearing a seatbelt and had been speeding when the car went off the road, through a fence and hit a tree.

Paramedics took the boy to Kadlec Regional Medical Center.
