YAKIMA, Wash. -- NBC Right Now has some details tonight on the Ahtanum Ridge fire. Crews were called out to battle a fire that started around 6pm on the ridge.
West Valley Fire Officials say the fire has grown to about 300 acres on their side of the ridge, but the fire has gone over the ridge and could be 300 to 400 acres big on that side of the Ahtanum Ridge.
Several homes were threaten at one point, but none have been loss on the West Valley side of the ridge. Officials say several agencies are working on the blaze.
