YAKIMA, Wash.-- People in Yakima still have a chance to win a free meal for every week this year.
The new Carl's Jr. restaurant on First Street is celebrating its opening day by handing out a year's worth of coupons to five customers every hour today. It's the first Carl's Jr. to open in Yakima. One of the co-owners says the city is the best place in the nation to open a fast food joint.
"So we have the least number of restaurants per capita here in Yakima. I think there's a lot of restaurants here that could use some competition," says Co-owner Paul Jones.
Jones says the restaurant created over 50 new jobs.
You still have a chance to get the free coupons. The giveaways happen every hour until eight tonight.
