Benton Franklin Fair And Rodeo Art Exhibit

KENNEWICK, Wash. -- What's a county fair without exhibiting the local arts?

More than 100 pieces are on exhibit from nearly 70 local painters, photographers, as well as steel and metal workers.

And just like the fair, the arts are for the ageless. The exhibit showcases work from artists ages 3 to 90.
Local Burbank artist Margo Fox's dichromatic oil painting "Winter Thaw" hangs in the exhibit.

Fox says she lets her imagination and the oils take the lead, "I will start with sky and then I'm pretty blank. You just think about it and start working with the paint and it grows. The idea forms slowly."

The art exhibit is located on the right, just after the main entrance into the fairgrounds.
