KENNEWICK, Wash., -- 'Not guilty'...that's what 41-year old Jack Didley's bouncer Matthew Hibbard pleaded this morning in Benton County Court.
According to Judge Craig Matheson, the charges and penalties he faces are a "very serious matter."
The incident left 31-year old Ben Ensign in serious condition at Kadlec Regional Medical Center.
Prosecutors say Hibbard and another Jack Didley's employee dropped Ensign on the sidewalk after he tried to re-enter the nightclub on July 4th, after he was asked to leave.
Hibbard signed a no-contact order this morning and will appear in court again on September 6th.
His trial is set for October 15th.
