PASCO, Wash.- Two people are listed in serious condition after a semi-trucks runs a red light at the intersection of Oregon Avenue and A Street.
According to Washington State Troopers, it happened around 11am when a white Nissan passenger car was attempting to make a left turn at the traffic light onto Oregon Avenue.
A semi-truck with no trailer was approaching the same intersection on Oregon Avenue, ran the red light and T-boned the white passenger car.
The 60-year-old female driver of the white car had to be extricated from the vehicle and taken to Kadlec with serious injuries.
The 73-year-old male passenger in the white car sustained internal injuries and was taken to KGH.
The semi-truck driver was not injured.
The intersection was completely shut down for close to an hour due to the collision.
