KENNEWICK, Wash.- The renovation complete, workers have started moving everything back into Sunset View Elementary School.
For the next five days, a dozen people from the Kennewick School District Warehouse Department will make continuous shuttle trips from the old Fruitland school, where every desk, text book, and everything else from Sunset has been stored during the remodel.
"It could be computers coming in. It could be garbage cans, globes, you name it," says Brad Staudinger, who is leading the move. "Whatever needs to make a school run, is on these pallets."
Sunset View is the third of five schools getting a facelift, thanks to voters passing a bond measure three years ago.
After this move, the school district turns its attention to renovating Cascade Elementary School, followed by Lincoln elementary next year.
