KENNEWICK, Wash. -- A bouncer at Jack Didley's nightclub in Kennewick has now been charged in the Ben Ensign case.
41-year-old Matthew Hibbard is facing a 3rd degree assault charge with aggravating circumstances for excessive injuries after a July 4th incident.
Hibbard is accused of grabbing 31-year-old Ensign's head and neck while another employee grabbed his legs. The two then dropped Ensign onto the sidewalk after he tried to re-enter the nightclub.
Ensign was intoxicated and had been told to leave after creating a disturbance just a few minutes before the incident.
Ensign is still listed in serious condition at Kadlec Medical Center.
