Man shot in the shoulder, police looking for shooter

YAKIMA, Wash. - Yakima Police say around 12:30 on Tuesday morning, someone shot a 40-year-old man from Pasco in the left shoulder, near North 1st Street and East F Street.

Officers say they found the man sitting in his parked car. Paramedics took the man to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The man told police he was driving around the area when he heard a gunshot, and then felt pain in his arm.

Detectives and are still investigating.  Anyone with additional information is asked to contact the Yakima Police Department at 575-6200.
