RICHLAND, Wash.-- Richland Police have confirmed that 61 year old John Scott Anderson was the Richland man who died last night in a fireworks accident. Police and medics responded to the area south of Gala Way and Westcliffe Blvd. When they arrived at the scene, medics were not able to revive Anderson. It has been confirmed that Anderson was hit by fireworks launched from a mortar tube and suffered extensive injuries to his upper body and head.
