TOPPENISH, Wash.-- In Toppenish, thousands of people lined downtown streets in for the 79th Annual Wild West, Fourth of July Parade.
This year's festivities honored returning veterans of the Iraq war, and all veterans in the Yakima Valley.
There were about 80 different entries that made their way through downtown and people we spoke to said they love the yearly event.
"It's so fun, they have food and vendors. But you know, everywhere you see families, which is what you want to have. And we're just really happy to see all these people come out and support their parade," said Lorraine Smith.
The parade is also helping kick off the Toppenish Rodeo which starts this Friday.
