PASCO, Wash.-- A Pasco man was shocked this morning to see a kangaroo out his kitchen window on a walking path.
The animal was seen in the Broadmoor neighborhood off Sandifur Parkway north of Highway 182. The kangaroo was spotted on a walking path along the highway and then went across oncoming traffic on 182. It then went into a field on the other side. Police vehicles created a line along the freeway to keep the kangaroo off.
Wayne Ramsey says he didn't expect to see something like that near his Pasco home.
"I was dumb founded. I walk this path everyday. I don't expect to see a kangaroo on my walking path. Occasional snake, I'm okay," says Ramsey.
A group of men in two pick-up trucks we're trying to catch it. Ramsey says he doesn't know who they are or why they had a kangaroo. The men looking for the kangaroo finally lassoed the animal and tied it up to be hauled away.
