UNION GAP, Wash.-- The new Cabela's Outpost Store in Union Gap is getting closer to opening.
The company is now taking applications from potential employees.
The store plans to hire more than 90 full-time and part time employees, as well as seasonal workers.
Construction on the building started this spring, and the company expects to open the store in September.
Union Gap's mayor says the store will benefit his city and the entire Yakima area.
"It will help out our local economy a lot... I know that a lot of people are really looking for any kind of job they can find... So... This will help out," says Union Gap Mayor Jim Lemon.
Lemon says the new JC Penney's is also planning to open in September.
If you're interested in working at the new Cabela's store, applications are available online, here.
