RICHLAND, Wash.-  The 6th annual Richland Fly-In starts Saturday at the Richland Airport.

Anybody is welcome to come, but the free flights will only be for children between the ages of 8 and 17.

There will be a pancake breakfast starting at 7 in the morning, planes will begin taking off around 9 a.m.

There will be antique and experimental aircraft displays, and visitors can bring a tent and camp free Friday night at the airport.

The event is put on by the local Experimental Aircraft Association.

Once a child has flown, he or she becomes a "Young Eagle".

The kid's name will then be entered in the world's largest logbook at the Young Eagles website.

It's a very popular event. So you may want to get there before 9 a.m.
