Housing Authority breaks ground on Granger farmworker housing

GRANGER, Wash.-- The Yakima Housing Authority held a groundbreaking ceremony today for new seasonal farmworker housing in Granger.

They're building it on South 5th Street and East D Street. The area will house up to 76 farmworkers and their families in ten two-bedroom buildings. The Yakima Housing Authority will own and operate the development when it's finished.
