4-Star QB Tyler Bruggman Commits to Washington State

Updated:

One of the best high school quarterbacks in the West is reportedly coming to Washington State. Tyler Bruggman, a 4-star recruit from Arizona gave a verbal commitment to coach Mike Leach, the Arizona Republic reported Wednesday.

Bruggman reportedly texted the news to Leach and coaches at Arizona State.

Bruggman visited Spokane earlier this spring to watch the Crimson and Gray game. He said he liked Leach's Air Raid offense.

Today's commitment is probably the biggest one for Leach since he arrived at Washington State. Scout.com believes Bruggman is the No. 26 quarterback prospect in the country. He threw for nearly 2,500 yards and 37 touchdowns last season as a junior.
