ELLENSBURG, WA - On Tuesday, June 12, Kittitas County will continue the public meeting open house events to present to community members draft proposed changes to the County's Comprehensive Plan.
The first open house will be at the Cle Elum-Roslyn Elementary School Multi-Purpose Room on Tuesday June 12, from 6:30 PM to 8 PM. The address for the school is 2694 SR 903, Cle Elum, WA 98922
The next open house, at Teanaway Hall in the Kittitas County Fairgrounds Event Center in Ellensburg on June 13 from 6:30 PM to 8 PM. The address for the Event Center is 512 N Poplar St, Ellensburg, WA 98926
These public meetings will focus upon providing a continued assessment of the "Rural Character" of the county. Proposed DRAFT changes to the Comprehensive Compliance Plan Map and Zoning Map will be presented, and comments will be taken from the public. Information on the expansion of the City of Kittitas Urban Growth Area will also be available. An informal discussion on these issues will also take place at the meetings.
The open house events are just one way the County is reaching out to public input.
