RICHLAND, Wash. -- Tuesday Hanford High School honored its student-athletes who will play in college.
Nineteen students participated in Tuesday's signing party. Seven play baseball, four of whom will play at Walla Walla Community College. Other signees range from tennis to swimming. The student-athletes enjoyed sharing the moment with each other.
"I absolutely am so happy that everybody was able to sign, and we had like nineteen people I think that's what he said and they're all deserving. They all worked really hard and I know them all personally. So being able to sign with them is the most amazing feeling," said Heather Baddley, who will play soccer at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs.
"I guess this senior class at Hanford has a lot of talented athletes because I think this is the most that we've had going on to play at the next level in quite a while," said Finn McMichael, who will play baseball at Linfield College.
