PASCO, Wash. -- The Tri-Cities Regional Public Facilities District may be close to a decision on what project they'll ask voters to support with a sales tax increase.
The board has four choices in front of them. Expand the Three Rivers Convention Center. Build a performing arts center. Support funding for The Hanford Reach Interpretive Center. Or convert the TRAC into an aquatic center.
If the board chooses something other than the TRAC, then what could happen to its future?"I do not for see an aquatic enter being built at TRAC if it's not chosen as a regional project," explains board member Rebecca Francik.
The board expects to receive a report from a consultant in time for its June 13th meeting at Richland City Hall.
