YAKIMA, Wash.-- You may have seen people setting up lights and cameras around Yakima today. It's all part of a commercial shoot for a local production company.
JH Productions is working on a series of ads featuring two men competing for the title of "Most Interesting Man in Yakima".
Local businesses are funding the ads. They hope it will encourage more people to invest in Yakima.
"Well, I'm always looking for ways to support Yakima and businesses and it's nice to be able to shoot it on such high quality with such a good group," says Director Josh Hodgins.
The company plans to finish the ads by the end of the month. They hope to air them on TV in June and July.
Hodgins says if they get additional interest from other local businesses they may shoot another batch of commercials later on.
