RICHLAND, Wash. - The Mission Support Alliance made a big donation to the Children's Reading Foundation of the Mid-Columbia Tuesday.

For the last two weeks, MSA employees have been bringing in books as part the first ever MSA Hanford book drive.

Volunteers spent Tuesday morning sorting and labeling the donated books, and then MSA president, Frank Armijo, presented the reading foundation with their annual $10,000 sponsorship check.

Armijo told us, "we've been involved for a while but this is a way for employees to get more personally involved in trying to support the reading foundation, and support reading in our community."

Support for the Children's Reading Foundation allows the organization to provide books to local elementary schools, replenish community reading baskets, and distribute 50 books to first-time-teachers in the area.
