Landslide closes SR 410 - NBC Right Now/KNDO/KNDU Tri-Cities, Yakima, WA |

YAKIMA, Wash.-- The Department of Transportation has announced that Highway 410 east of Mount Rainier is closed due to a landslide. The Highway is closed at milepost 88 west of Bumping River Road. The Yakima County Emergency Management Director says the slide covered about 60 feet of road with mud, rocks, and trees. There is no word on when it could be opened.  The Department says it could be a long term closure based on the amount of debris.
