Beware of automated fake GESA Credit Union scam calls

KENNEWICK, Wash. --  GESA Credit Union and Kennewick Police wants to remind everyone to never divulge credit card or other personal information unless you originate the call.

Wednesday, Kennewick Police began receiving reports of calls that individuals were receiving calls on their cell phone stating their GESA Debit Card had been compromised or canceled. 

Two Sales people also received calls on their personal cell phones.

The message instructed the person to enter their card number and other information.  This is a scam.  No financial institution will ask you to enter this type of information.  Police say as of this time there are no known victims.
