A tagger in Kennewick hit around 8 businesses overnight.
The vandal spread graffiti over a few blocks on Kennewick Avenue, between Jackson's Sports Bar and Highway 395.
Police say they keep records of these crimes so when they catch the criminals in the act, they can be held responsible for all the places they've targeted.
"When you look at it, it's all foolishness. But the bottom line is we want to be able to tell people that it's not acceptable and the bottom line is this is somebody else's property. And you have no right to deface it," says Officer Craig Hanson.
If you have any information that can help police find the tagger call Crime Stoppers at 586-TIPS.
