A specialty bakery in Kennewick gave away some tasty treats Wednesday morning to promote their new location.
Cupcakes Bakery and Deli has been in the Tri-Cities for about 6 years, and recently moved to a bigger kitchen on Clearwater Avenue near Just Roses (5610 West Clearwater Avenue).
They make over 80 flavors of cupcakes including Dr. Pepper, cheese cake, and strawberry short cake.
The owner says she decided to turn her passion into a business after entering a contest.
"I didn't win, but I took an honorable mention. So it went out on the Internet and people started ordering cupcakes from me even though we didn't have a store we didn't have a business. So we just looked into it," says Milli Banks-Boggan.
Milli says the bakery is her workshop, and she enjoys being fun and creative every day.
