KENNEWICK, Wash. -- With these warm temperatures, you're probably thinking ahead to summer.
And so is HAPO Community Credit Union. They call themselves the official sponsor of summer and Tuesday, they released the schedule of events they're sponsoring this year.
Returning favorites include the vintiques car show, Cool desert nights, the Water Follies air show, and the Family Fun Fest.
New additions include Thunder on the Island, Classy Chassy Show and Shine, and Pasco's Grand Old Fourth of July Parade.
Organizers say it's a win-win for locals and tourists.
"Let them come out and enjoy the summer enjoy what we have in our community and we're also bringing a few people into the community. Tourism, it puts a few heads in the beds as they like to say," explains Ron Hue with HAPO Community Credit Union.
A number of events will take place throughout the Tri-Cities, Yakima Valley, and Hermiston. The events kick off on May 26th, and continue through the end of August.
