KENNEWICK, Wash. -- New discount web sites and existing travel agencies make the travel industry an already competitive field.
However, a new business in Kennewick is hoping to stand out based on local appeal, and the fact it's operated by a mother and daughter.
Susan Reinkens who owns Elite Travel Associates says there are some challenges to working with your daughter.
"Well, let me tell you, there's always challenges when family works together, we are very much two different people."
Reinkens daughter Liz also has her own business under the same roof. It's a marketing firm called Free Rein Marketing.
Both women say they're optimistic about success because of the growing number of people moving into the Tri-Cities.
