YAKIMA, Wash.-- Now that spring is here, road construction season is heating up with the temperatures.
This Thursday, crews will close a portion of Interstate 90 between Gold Creek and the Price Creek Sno-Park in both directions, from seven to eight PM, for rock blasting.
Also, for the next six weeks, crews will reduce traffic to single lanes in both directions between Easton and Cle Elum, as they work to repair the roadway.
The state patrol encourages drivers to be careful in these areas and to watch for signs indicating merging lanes and slower areas.
They also encourage drivers to plan extra time for travel.
