RICHLAND, Wash.-- A Richland dentist's office offered free dental care Saturday to eighty people.
Cadwell Dental hosted the event through the Dentistry of the Heart organization. All day people were offered free extractions, fillings, and cleanings.
Cadwell Dentist and owner of Cadwell Dental, Josh Cadwell, hopes that offering free care will encourage others to pay it forward.
"If we can get rid of a little barrier, maybe a tooth ache or a problem they're having teeth-wise, and it helps them become a better person they can be, then they can make a greater impact in their world that way too," said Cadwell.
The day was put on by volunteers and all of the supplies were donated.
