KENNEWICK, Wash.-- Dog lovers came out to the Super Pet Adoption event today at Columbia Park in Kennewick.
More than one hundred dogs were up for adoption. The animals were brought in from more than ten shelter throughout the Tri-Cities area.
The event is held by a dog rescue and re-homing non-profit called Jenny's Hope. Debbie Bailey of Jenny's Hope, said the event is a success every year.
"We hope that they find the best home possible. And we have people that come back after years of adoption and bring their animals and show us how happy they are. So it's an amazing event," said Bailey.
Last year sixty-four dogs were adopted and this year they think one hundred will be adopted. Veterinarian services and pet microchipping were also available at the event.
